In 1948 Martin Wagner had the vision to manufacture the best clothes hangers in the world – fully automated: MAWA metal clothes hangers. Started with trousers suspender MAWA has created numerous innovations for the market. These have brought the hanging of clothes to perfection as well as considered the different fashion trends of the last decades. The MAWA product range comprises over 500 products. All path breaking developments for metal clothes hangers were invented at MAWA and were registered as patents – like completely turnable hooks, anti-slip coating and clip hangers. MAWA is the original – often copied, never the same quality. The production of the clothes hangers is Made in Germany: In Pfaffenhofen designers, engineers, suppliers and sales staff work in a close collaboration and the own machinery allows a huge flexibility and quickness in the manufacturing.
