About the trade fair

14 – 16 December 2021
Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC)
Dubai, U.A.E.

The region’s leading exhibition for stationery and creative supplies is set to return in 2021. As the one-stop destination for the office, education and retail sectors, the upcoming edition will also feature the launch edition of Gifts & Lifestyle Middle East.
As the region’s leading trade exhibition for creative and workplace supplies, Paperworld Middle East is a vital hub for global players to present their trend-setting innovations, build promising connections and explore new opportunities in key emerging markets across the Middle East and Africa. Going into its 10th year Paperworld Middle East 2021 will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from the December 14th to 16th, and will feature leading international and local manufacturers and suppliers of office stationery supplies, school articles, gift articles, wrapping material, office paper, household paper, Remanexpo Middle East, printers, and digital applications, creative materials, as well as party and festive articles, toys and children’s lifestyle products through Playworld Middle East.

The countries of the Middle Eastern region are growing increasingly attractive as business destinations. The size of their expanding economies is helping to drive rapid demand for office supplies and services, meaning that events such as Paperworld Middle East have an increasingly important role to play in shaping and influencing the market. The Paperworld worldwide brand has been exported to regions of importance around the world. The result is a global network of events that brings together demand and supply to the benefit of both exhibitors and visitors.

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) decides on, and supports, official participations in the Federal Republic of Germany's international trade fairs and exhibition programme.
In addition to policy and budgetary issues, the active involvement in the presentation of Germany at international fairs and exhibitions is of prime importance. In a constant dialogue with private-sector partners, the division for international/national trade fairs and exhibitions of the ministry backs the export activities of German industry on international markets.

Furthermore, the "fairs and exhibitions division" is concerned with planning and implementing German participation in world expositions abroad and with major political issues regarding fairs and exhibitions in Germany.

The Association of the German Trade Fair Industry, AUMA, represents the interests of the trade fair industry on a national and international level in dealings with parliament, ministries, authorities and other organisations.

The association organises the official German trade fair programme abroad in close cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and the Ministry of Consumer Protection, Food and Agriculture.

As part of this programme, the Federal Government provides financial assistance for German participations at foreign events, but also for independent presentations by German industry abroad.
